Hamilton police have not laid any charges in an east Mountain crash that left a teenager with serious injuries.
Police said just after 1:30 a.m. on July 23, a 15-year-old boy was riding an electric scooter when he was struck by a driver travelling north on Upper Kenilworth Avenue near Landron Avenue.
The 20-year-old driver, who was driving a Honda Civic, stopped his vehicle and called 911. The rider of the scooter was seriously injured and transported to hospital.
Police said the teen has been released from hospital and continues to recover from his injuries at home.
The collision reconstruction unit took over the investigation, and on Friday, announced that no charges would be laid in the crash.
