Five people, including one police officer, killed in North Carolina shooting

A North Carolina mayor announced that five people, including a police officer, were killed in a shooting in a residential area on Thursday.

Raleigh Mayor Mary-Ann Baldwin told reporters that multiple people were shot on the Neuse River greenway trail around 5pm, and that the police department told her around 8pm that the suspect had been contained" at a residence in the area.
