The Dallas Cowboys aren't officially closing the door just yet on Dak Prescott playing Sunday night.

The quarterback is listed as questionable for the Cowboys' Week 6 showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Prescott missed the last four games due to a thumb injury suffered in Week 1. Head coach Mike McCarthy said Wednesday that Dallas is still preparing to start Cooper Rush versus Philadelphia.

Prescott was reportedly expected to miss four-to-six weeks after undergoing surgery. He resumed throwing at practice Wednesday.

McCarthy said Thursday that the signal-caller was still sore, according to Todd Archer of ESPN.

"That's the most he's thrown to this point," McCarthy added. "We've got a plan for him tomorrow, a plan for Sunday, and we'll just stay the course."

Rush, who took first-team reps at practice this week, has helped Dallas post a 4-0 record since Prescott went down. The backup passer has tossed four touchdowns against zero interceptions this season.

A surprise addition to the Cowboys' injury report was wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who missed practice Friday with a hip injury. Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones is optimistic Lamb, listed as questionable, will be good to go Sunday.

"I just think he's working through a couple (of) things there," Jones said, according to Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News. "But feel like he'll get all that sorted out for the game."
