Former Pro Bowl running back Todd Gurley is "definitely" done playing professional football, he told NFL Network's Andrew Siciliano on Thursday.

"I don't think there's any question about that one," Gurley said when asked if he's calling it quits. The three-time Pro Bowler sent out numerous tweets earlier in the week thanking former players, fueling speculation about his future.

Gurley spent all but one year of his career with the Los Angeles Rams. The 28-year-old led the NFL in rushing touchdowns on two occasions, and he recorded a league-high 2,093 yards from scrimmage in 2017. He was named Offensive Player of the Year that year.

The Rams drafted Gurley 10th overall in the 2015 NFL Draft. He was an important fixture of the 2018 team that reached Super Bowl LIII, which the Rams lost to the New England Patriots.

Gurley last appeared in the NFL in 2020 as a member of the Atlanta Falcons. He rushed for 678 yards and nine touchdowns on 195 carries.
