Brantford police have charged a second person with accessory after the fact to murder in the death of Brayden Ferrall.

The 22-year-old's disappearance was initially considered a missing person case. Ferrall was reported missing in February after he failed to return home. He was last seen by friends Feb. 18.

By late March the case was transferred to criminal investigation detectives and police announced that foul play was suspected. In May, his body was found on Campbell Road in Brant County and his death was declared a homicide.

On Oct. 20, Brantford police charged 28-year-old Baron Brading-Searles, of Brantford, with accessory after the fact to murder. He was held for bail, according to the release.

The second arrest comes months after police also charged 26-year-old Kathleen Bacon, of Brantford, with accessory after the fact to murder back in early June.

Police have not released details on cause of death or any additional suspect information, citing the active and ongoing investigation." It is not believed to be a random incident.

Police said they are continuing to work closely with Ferrall's family to provide support.

We would like to thank the public for their demonstrations of support during this investigation," read the release.

Detectives are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
