Man pinned by tractor on Flamborough farm
Hamilton police say a man was taken to hospital after a farm accident in Flamborough Sunday afternoon.
Staff Sgt. Paul Corrigan told The Spectator that emergency services were called to a property on Mountsberg Road around 3:15 p.m. Sunday, where a 39-year-old man had been operating a large tractor when it flipped over and pinned him underneath.
Corrigan said the man was trapped under the machine for about an hour and half before it could be moved by the responding fire department. The man was then transported to a Hamilton hospital.
Corrigan noted that the man was talking and conscious" when he was removed, but he could not confirm any further details on the man's condition. Police were holding the scene, he added.
