Chiefs' Clark suspended 2 games for violating NFL's personal conduct policy

The NFL suspended Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Frank Clark for two games for violating the league's personal conduct policy, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Clark pleaded no contest last month in Los Angeles to two counts of misdemeanor charges for possession of an assault weapon. He was charged in July 2021.

The three-time Pro Bowler was arrested in California in March 2021 after police found two loaded guns in his vehicle during a traffic stop. He was arrested again in June after police reportedly discovered an Uzi submachine gun in his car during another routine stop.

Clark ranks third on the team with three sacks this year. The 29-year-old, who was a key member of the Chiefs' Super Bowl-winning team in 2019, has 56.5 career sacks in seven-plus seasons split between the Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks.

He'll be eligible to return to the Chiefs' active roster on Nov. 14 before Kansas City's game against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11. The Chiefs face the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars after their Week 8 bye.
