Mystic Ramen leaving the Hamilton Farmers’ Market for King William
A popular Japanese food stall in the Hamilton Farmers' Market will be opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant downtown.
Chef Noah Woods, owner of Mystic Ramen, announced Monday that after just over three years of operating inside the market, his eatery would be moving to King William Street in December.
We are forever grateful for our amazing time in the market," read the Instagram post that thanked customers for their support. We wouldn't be here without you."
The Japanese restaurant that opened in 2019 is known for its piping hot bowls of ramen and special pop-ups events around the city.
Its new location - the former home of sandwich shop That's My Jam - will offer dine-in service for both lunch and dinner as well as longer operating hours, according to the post.
The restaurant will close its market stall after Nov. 19 and is aiming to reopen at 51 King William St. in early December.
Mystic Ramen is the second eatery to leave the market this fall, following the departure of vegan fast food spot Bring Me Some, which has opened a brick-and-mortar location on Concession Street.
