Hamilton grandma plans to share $3-million lotto win with ‘big, wonderful family’
A Hamilton winner was speechless" after seeing that she'd won big on an OLG scratch card.
Magdolna Kovac hit the jackpot on an Instant $3,000,000 Prestige game.
Kovac said she's been playing the lottery for decades, while collecting her prize at the OLG prize centre in Toronto. But this is her first time winning big.
She said she was overwhelmed and started to cry" after telling her husband. But, it's slowly starting to feel real."
According to an OLG press release, Kovac bought the $30 scratch ticket at Big Bee Convenience and Food Mart on Upper Gage Avenue.
She plans to share her winnings with family.
I have a big, wonderful family that I plan to share with," Kovac said. My grandchildren will have their education paid for."
