Bulldogs fall, 5-1, to North Bay Battalion

Matvey Petrov scored twice, including an empty-net goal in the third period to lead the North Bay Battalion to a 5-1 victory over the Hamilton Bulldogs Friday night at FirstOntario Centre.
The Batallion's Dalyn Wakely added another empty netter, while Kyle McDonald and Liam Arnsby each had a goal in the victory.
Logan Morrison scored in the second period; Hamilton's lone goal.
The Bulldogs travel to Peterborough to meet the Petes Tuesday night.
