NDP MPP Sandy Shaw is taking a temporary step back from legislative duties and public events as she supports an ailing parent.
In a Twitter statement, Shaw, who's represented Hamilton West-Ancaster-Dundas since 2018, said she plans to be back to full speed very soon" and thanked constituents for their patience.
My constituency office will remain open," she said. I am very grateful to my staff who will continue to respond to requests from the community as quickly as possible."
