Sources: Falcons optimistic about Pitts' knee injury
The Atlanta Falcons are optimistic about Kyle Pitts' status after the tight end left with a knee injury during a 27-24 win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday, sources told Jordan Schultz, theScore's NFL insider.
Pitts was declared questionable after hurting his knee but didn't return to the field.
Early indications are that Kyle Pitts did NOT tear any ligaments in his knee, sources tell @theScore.

An MRI in the morning will confirm, but the #Falcons remain optimistic about their star TE.
Pitts will have an MRI on Monday morning to confirm the severity of the injury, per Schultz.
The tight end finished Sunday's contest with 43 yards on three receptions. He's recorded 28 catches, 346 yards, and two touchdowns this season.
Atlanta's next game is against the surging Washington Commanders on Nov. 27.
