Woman suffers ‘serious injuries’ after Porsche hits tree in Oakville
A woman suffered serious injuries following a single-vehicle crash in Oakville on Sunday (Nov. 20).
The crash occurred in the area of Cornwall and Morrison roads in Oakville at around 10:43 p.m., when a 2016 Porsche sport utility vehicle travelling westbound on Cornwall Road went off-course.
The vehicle hit a sign and a tree before coming to rest on its roof in a parking lot, Halton police said.
The driver, a 46-year-old woman from Woodbridge, was taken to Hamilton General Hospital with serious injuries," but is expected to survive, police say.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken carriage of the investigation," police said in a news release.
