Flamborough's Grasshopper Imports is back for a limited time only
The little shop on Flamborough's Highway 6 best known for spreading peace and love is back - for a limited time only.
Grasshopper Imports, which closed in the spring after more than 30 years in business, is returning for a December pop-up event.
It's going to be fantastic to reconnect with everyone," said co-owner Angela Betts.
Dubbed the Winter Bohemian Market, the cash-only event will run from Wednesdays to Mondays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Dec. 23 at Grasshopper Imports former location at 1134 Highway 6 N. The market will feature a variety of items from the shop's suppliers available at wholesale prices, as well as wares from local artisans.
Unique items available for purchase include wreaths, clothing, wind chimes and so much more. Vendors setting up shop at the market include Groovy Spoons, Guru Kailas and Creative Memories.
We've got the funkiest vendors in here," said Betts, who called on a friend to help her set up the pop-up - an initiative she hopes to continue a few times a year.
I'm planting a seed," she said, adding, I see Grasshopper popping open a few times a year."
Thrilled to reconnect with customers and the community, Betts said she can hardly wait to see everyone again."
