Report: Brady considering all options for 2023 season
Tom Brady isn't ruling out anything for the 2023 season.
All options are on the table for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, who is slated to become a free agent this offseason, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero.
The legendary quarterback briefly retired last offseason before returning to the Buccaneers for a 23rd professional season.
Brady has Tampa Bay atop the NFC South at 6-6 entering Week 14. While the club has struggled offensively at times, the veteran quarterback has managed to post 16 touchdowns to three interceptions. He's also completed 66.2% of his passes for 3,332 yards.
However, Brady's contract with the Bucs expires following the 2022 campaign. The 45-year-old joined the franchise as a free agent in 2020, leading them to two postseason appearances and a Super Bowl victory thus far.
If Brady opts to retire, the decorated signal-caller will head to the booth to join Fox Sports on a reported 10-year contract to be the network's lead NFL analyst.
