Royal Botanical Gardens is lit for the season
Hendrie Park at the Royal Botanical Gardens is lit up for its annual light show along a 1.5-kilometre walk that takes approximately one hour.
Along the route are various spots to enjoy refreshments and eats (the menus rotate) and a spot to listen to entertainment.
There are three interactive displays, including the Singing Tree that is powered by songs sung by visitors. The louder the songs, the brighter the display.
The event requires advanced tickets for the twice-an-evening time slots that run Wednesday to Sunday Nov. 23 to Jan. 8 (with closures for Christmas and New Years dates).
After the walk there is a botanical train display inside the garden's headquarters.
