Hamilton gets a white Christmas — and forecast says a warm week will close out 2022
While the wintery surge brought a chilly white Christmas to southern Ontario, Hamilton residents will get a holiday gift of quickly rising temperatures through the week.
Two days after plummeting temperatures in Hamilton, the city cancelled the cold weather advisory.
Boxing Day will continue to be cold and chilly at -8 C, feeling like -19 with winds in the morning. But temperatures will warm up going into the week, clearing out that Christmas snow.
Tuesday's high of -2 C and a chance flurries will make way for a few days above zero.
A high of 3 C is forecast for sunny Wednesday. Wet and warm Thursday and Friday are both expected to reach a high of 8 C. And rain is expected to continue New Year's Eve, with a high of 10 C in the forecast.
