‘Iconic indulgence’ BeaverTails comes to Burlington with artisanal Canadian pastries
From a Quebecois ski hill to just around the corner, Beavertails has arrived in Burlington.
The artisanal Canadian pastry maker that made its name around Ottawa and at ski hills has opened a location at 3061 Walkers Line. Serving popular pastries alongside drinks and hot food items like poutine, the new location is part of a growing expansion for the brand, which now has more than 195 locations worldwide.
Rita Elzobaydi, the local franchisee, opened the Burlington location at the Farm Boy plaza in early November. The news of the arrival in town was met with a flurry of exciting social media posts.
Darryl Ouimette, district coach for the Burlington location, said the store evokes a reaction from people in many communities because it connects them to happy memories.
BeaverTails is synonymous with making memories. BeaverTails brings people back to special moments in times with sweet memories. When we enter new communities, locals get excited that they can relive and create memories close to home and in their homes," said Ouimette.
Menu items include the Coco Vanil BeaverTail with vanilla icing, crushed Oreo and chocolate sauce. There's also the Brownie Beavertail, which is a chocolate hazelnut spread, brownie pieces and white chocolate chunks.
BeaverTails is truly one of a kind. Irresistibly delicious, artisanal Canadian pastry, always there to share special moments that make lifelong memories. Iconic indulgence since 1978, we continue our heritage by uniquely combining our original recipe with premium quality ingredients," said Ouimette.
