Trueshot Coffee Co. closes its doors in Durand
A cafe in the Durand neighbourhood has closed after nearly three years in business.
Trueshot Coffee Co. announced on Instagram Thursday it would be closing its doors on James Street South on Friday. The shop opened in January 2020, just months before the pandemic began.
I am extremely grateful to everyone who walked through our doors to support us," read the post, written by owner Kevin Lau. Your kind words through these years meant more to me than you will ever know."
The cafe, nestled between Duke and Bold streets, served up a mix of espresso-based beverages, teas and baked goods, while also offering coffee beans, oat milk and brewing equipment for purchase.
Lau went on to thank staff, vendors and the community for their support throughout the last few years.
Thank you and goodbye for now," Lau added.
