Brantford police arrest 19-year-old in shooting investigation
A 19-year-old man is facing multiple firearm charges after Brantford police were called to a shooting outside a Metcalfe Crescent home Monday afternoon.
Police were called for reports of gun shots fired on Metcalfe between Debbie Crescent and North Park Street around 1 p.m. Police did not report any injuries.
Residents in the immediate area were asked to temporarily shelter in place and Metcalfe was closed in the area while police investigated.
Around 3:15 p.m. police arrested the 19-year-old suspect.
Police remained on scene Monday night and the investigation is ongoing.
