Hello Baked has closed its doors in Barton Village

A sweets shop in Barton Village has closed after five years in business.

Hello Baked announced on Instagram last month it would be permanently closing the doors of its retail space on Barton Street East as of Dec. 23, 2022.

The shop, known for its unique offerings of cookies and candy, opened back in 2017.

Our lease has come to an end and although it's a bittersweet decision, this feels like the right time for a change," read the post, which thanked its customers. You're thoughtful, kind, creative people who've made this experience so fun over the years."

The shop will continue to take corporate orders this year, according to the post. It's unclear where the business will continue to operate.
