The Philadelphia Eagles are going back to the big game.
Philadelphia earned a dominant 31-7 win over the shorthanded San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday to earn its first Super Bowl berth since the 2017 season.
With 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy severely limited by a right elbow injury and backup Josh Johnson out with a concussion, the Eagles rode their rushing attack to the victory. Running backs Miles Sanders, Kenneth Gainwell, and Boston Scott combined for 111 yards and three touchdowns, while quarterback Jalen Hurts also added 39 yards and a score on the ground.
More to come.
