Brantford police investigating two stabbings
Brantford police are investigating after a 17-year-old was stabbed Monday, one of two stabbings in that city in several days.
Police were called to Fifth Avenue around 2 p.m. Monday after a 911 call that a 17-year-old had been stabbed. The victim was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
On Friday around 3:30 p.m. emergency services were called to a stabbing outside an Erie Avenue business. Police found a 25-year-old man suffering from a single stab wound. He was transported to hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening injury.
The major crime unit continues to investigate that incident. There have been no arrests, police said.
