Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson was named the NFL's 2022 Offensive Player of the Year on Thursday.

Jefferson took home the award over Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Philadelphia Eagles signal-caller Jalen Hurts.

The Vikings receiver earned 35 first-place votes and 192 points. Mahomes was second with 75 points, while Hurts got 52 points. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill each garnered one first-place vote.

The superstar pass-catcher led the NFL with 128 catches and 1,809 yards in 2022 to go along with eight touchdown receptions. Jefferson topped 100 receiving yards in 10 games, including 223 yards in Week 14, the most in a single game this season.

Jefferson's best performance this campaign was arguably his 10-193-1 outing in Week 10 against the Buffalo Bills, which included a mind-blowing one-handed reception on fourth down.

Jefferson - the 22nd overall pick in 2020 - has been unstoppable since entering the NFL, racking up 4,825 yards, a new NFL record through a player's first three seasons.

It's the second consecutive year the Offensive Player of the Year honor goes to a wide receiver after Cooper Kupp of the Los Angeles Rams claimed it last season.
