The Arizona Cardinals expect to interview Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon for their vacant head coaching position, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The Eagles assistant plans to meet with the Cardinals on Monday following Super Bowl LVII.

The 39-year-old joins a list that also includes Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Lou Aranumo and New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka among candidates still in the mix for the opening.

Owner Michel Bidwill announced that the club would put its coaching search on pause this weekend due to the Super Bowl.

"It's Super Bowl weekend, and the entire NFL is focused on the Super Bowl. So we're going to pause throughout the rest of the weekend and get restarted on this on Monday morning," Bidwill said, according to team reporter Darren Urban.

Gannon, who is currently in his second season overseeing Philadelphia's defense, previously interviewed for the Houston Texans head coach role before they ultimately hired DeMeco Ryans.

The Eagles allowed the second-fewest yards per game (301.5) and surrendered just 20.2 points per contest during the regular season.

Arizona is looking to find its next sideline boss after dismissing Kliff Kingsbury following a 4-13 record last season.
