Canada’s Wonderland kicks off weeklong hiring blitz with plans to hire 4,000 workers for 2023 season
A weeklong hiring event is underway at Canada's Wonderland as it looks to hire 4,000 workers for the 2023 season, with the park saying it anticipates filling the majority of those roles this week.
In a news release, the park said its parent company, Cedar Fair, is undertaking its largest-ever recruiting campaign across all its parks in Canada and the U.S.
The job fair is taking place at Canada's Wonderland's human resources centre at 1 Amusement Dr. in Vaughan from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. every day this week until Friday, Feb. 24, excluding Family Day.
Recruiters will be on site speaking about employment opportunities and accepting applications. The release said candidates may apply to a job, interview, and be hired within the week.
The park is looking to hire across all of its departments, it said, including ride operators, lifeguards, food and beverage staff, security, retail, maintenance and park services.
The minimum age to work at Canada's Wonderland is 15, according to the release, and opening day is May 5.
Applications are also available online.
