Sir David Attenborough has warned that nature is in crisis" as he urged people to unite behind action to save it.
The natural historian, who has presented programmes including Planet Earth and The Blue Planet, spoke out as the charities the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and the National Trust launched a joint initiative aimed at halting the destruction of nature across the UK.
