Halton police investigating gunpoint carjacking in Milton
Halton Regional Police Service is investigating a gunpoint carjacking that happened late Sunday night.
Around 11 p.m., the victim had just parked in an underground garage at 1105 Leger Way in Milton. He was removing items from the vehicle when he was approached by a male suspect, who pointed a gun at him and demanded the keys to his vehicle.
The victim complied and the suspect fled in the victim's vehicle, a grey 2020 Audi A5 with an Ontario licence plate: CRHF464. The victim sustained no physical injuries.
The suspect is described as male, Black, 20 to 25 years old. He was wearing black pants, a black top and a black hat.
Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating the suspect. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage of the area at the time of the offence is asked to contact the No. 1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777, ext. 2416.
Do not approach if you see the vehicle. Call 911 immediately.
