The Buffalo Bills are bringing back veteran safety Jordan Poyer on a two-year contract, the team announced Wednesday.

Poyer scoped out the free-agent market but elected to return to Buffalo, reports NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The 31-year-old made the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career last season after recording four interceptions. He was named a first-team All-Pro in 2021 following a five-interception campaign.

Poyer has spent the last six years in Buffalo since coming over as a free agent in 2017. He's grabbed multiple picks in all six of his seasons with the Bills and has tallied 90-plus tackles on five occasions.

The veteran has been a key fixture of a Bills defense that's finished in the top two in points allowed in three of the last four seasons.
