Ezekiel Elliott appears to have narrowed his search for a new team down to three options.

The former Dallas Cowboys running back is deciding between the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Jets, and Cincinnati Bengals, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The three-time Pro Bowler, who was recently released by the Cowboys, reportedly wants to decide on his future by the end of next week.

The Eagles have not engaged in conversations with Elliott about adding him to the team and are happy with their current running backs, reports John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia.

Dallas decided to move forward with running back Tony Pollard, designating Elliott as a post-June 1 cut and saving $10.9 million in cap space.

The 27-year-old spent seven seasons with the Cowboys after they drafted him fourth overall in 2016. The Ohio State product took the NFL by storm, leading the league in rushing yards twice in his first four seasons.

However, he hasn't made the Pro Bowl since 2019 and failed to top 1,000 scrimmage yards for the first time in his career in 2022. Elliott, who's still a solid pass-blocking running back, finished last season with 876 rushing yards (3.8 per carry) to go along with 12 touchdowns.

The Bengals could use some reinforcements at the position after losing Samaje Perine to the Denver Broncos. Perine racked up 681 scrimmage yards and six touchdowns in 2022 while running behind Joe Mixon.

Meanwhile, the Jets have been trying to revamp their offense this offseason and are expected to land quarterback Aaron Rodgers. New York rosters running backs Breece Hall, who suffered a torn ACL as a rookie in 2022, and Michael Carter.

Philadelphia, arguably Dallas' biggest rival, boasts perhaps the league's top offensive line. The Eagles brought in running back Rashaad Penny in free agency to replace Miles Sanders, who's now with the Carolina Panthers. Philly's running back depth chart also features Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott, among others.
