10-year-old sent to hospital after being ejected during vehicle rollover

A 10-year-old boy is in serious condition after being ejected from the vehicle he was traveling in after it rolled over while northbound on Highway 406 near Glendale Avenue.
Ontario Provincial Police said there were three occupants in the vehicle at the time of the accident which happened at about 3 p.m. Saturday.
Two adults were uninjured, while the boy suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
Police said roads were wet at the time of the crash, which could have played a role.
Paramedics, OPP Niagara detachment officers and fire services were all on scene as a section of the northbound highway between Highway 58 and Glendale Avenue was closed for several hours for the investigation.
