Size Comparison of Animals With Their Extinct Ancestors

Animator WTD created a fascinating 3D animation comparing the size of existing animals and their extinct ancestors. The extinct animals, in this case, were mostly larger than the extant animals, although the extinct Livyatan melvillei appears to be almost half the size of a modern blue whale.
