King Street East closed at Holton Avenue North after crash

A stretch of King Street East is closed after a car struck a hydro pole near Holton Avenue North Wednesday morning.
Emergency services were called to the crash at Holton and King shortly before 9 a.m., Hamilton police said. A vehicle struck a hydro pole and then hit another passing vehicle.
A man driving the vehicle that struck the pole suffered minor injuries. He was out of his vehicle and walking when police arrived.
Police have closed King from Proctor Boulevard to Holton as a result of wires down across all lanes on King. Police have requested barricades from the city to help with traffic.
