2011 questions

Thoughts on the Stealth Arms Platypus (my concerns center around being a new model & proprietary parts)? Is something like the Prodigy worth it vs having to upgrade the MIM parts? Are the Bul Armory "2011's" good despite not taking "2011" mags?
