Question for the folks who keep guns around the house.

Moreso the ones who keep a gun in every room" or just a couple/few around the house;

What spots do you keep them in? How well do you hide them and how did you find a balance between hideability and accessibility? If you have guests (not unwanted of course), what happens if they stumble upon one and want to touch or even take it without your knowledge?

My girlfriend(23) and I(21) are staying with my parents. I own two pistols (G19.5 and G45) and when we get our own apartment I'm thinking of the concept of a gun in every room."

So those of you who do, how do you go about it?
