Dangerous offender wanted for parole breach known to frequent Hamilton
Police are searching for a federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breaching his statutory release.
Ontario's repeat offender parole enforcement (ROPE) squad is asking the public for help finding Danny Beharri. The 39-year-old is known to frequent Toronto, Brampton, Milton and Hamilton.
Beharri is serving a 10-year sentence for sexual assault with a weapon, three counts of assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, utter threats to cause death, breach of bail and fail to comply with probation. He was released on parole.
In 2015 a Superior Court judge declared him a dangerous offender. He was sentenced him to 10 years plus a long-term supervision order.
Daniel Beharri is a serial abuser of intimate domestic partners," Justice Casey Hill said, according to an article in the Brampton Guardian.
Beharri is described as a Black man, 39, five-foot-eight, 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
