Hey Everyone

I've never bought a firearm on the web before, and was using GunBroker since I've heard from word of mouth sellers on there are genuinely reputable.

I've been interested in purchasing a Springfield Trapdoor, and saw that a lot of people were wanting well over $1000 for theirs (understandably)

I noticed one seller had his significantly lower than other sellers, and I was little excited but also suspicious, so I emailed the seller privately and just asked since his price was so low, I wanted to know if the firearm was in proper shooting condition, or if it had to be repaired or anything. He replied:

As far as a functions check went I did not see any issues, please review the below portion that is provided in the auction listing.

Safety: Buyer is solely responsible for determining that a used gun is safe to shoot. The firearms offered have not been cleaned or test fired but have been given a visual inspection only for auction purposes. It is a requirement that every used firearm is inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing. By bidding, the buyer agrees to hold seller harmless against damages, injury, or death caused by defective merchandise.

Forgive my ignorance, should I avoid this seller, he seemed to have a really high positive review count. I just wanted to see the advice offered here
