33-year-old motorcyclist dead in single vehicle collision on Highway 407

A 33-year-old motorcyclist from Brampton is dead following a collision on Highway 407.
Provincial police say it happened around 12:45 a.m. on Saturday on the eastbound ramp of Highway 407 to Highway 404 southbound.
The rider lost control on the ramp, struck a sign and was seriously injured, police say. He was rushed to hospital but died from his injuries.
An investigation is ongoing. The ramp was closed overnight but reopened aaround 9 a.m. Saturday morning.
