Ontario mom warns parents about Group A strep infection rise after daughter dies

Christina Hecktus's five-year-old daughter Quin came home from school in March with a cough and a fever, and died days later. The Kitchener mother is now warning parents about the rare consequences of invasive Group A streptococcus, circulating in Ontario at the highest rates in a decade.
