Young man in Burlington falls 30 feet from tree and rushed to trauma centre

A young man is in hospital with serious injuries after falling more than 30 feet from a tree in Burlington.

The incident occurred Wednesday, May 25 before 9:30 p.m. in the area of Britannia Road and Blind Line, along the Bruce Trail in Kilbride.

The man, believed to be in his 20s, was rushed to a Hamilton trauma centre with serious injuries.

Burlington fire officials believe the man fell 30 to 40 feet.

Halton Regional Police are investigating.
