Scooter driver taken to hospital with serious injuries following Oakville crash

Halton police say one person has been taken to hospital with significant injuries following a serious crash in Oakville on Wednesday, June 7.
At around 1:40 p.m., a Vespa scooter was travelling on the Lakeshore Road West, near Third Line, when it was involved in a collision with a Nissan SUV and another vehicle.
Police said the Vespa driver received serious injuries and was transported to hospital.
The driver of the SUV was also reportedly taken to hospital, but the extent of their injuries are unclear at this time.
The Halton Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating this incident.
Lakeshore Road West has been closed between Third Line and Solingate Drive.
