Hello everybody

I'm a Windows user but I'd like to switch to Linux eventually.
For me, Windows is more comfortable to use and is hardware-friendlier to my old PC (which I don't plan to upgrade). That said, I distrust Windows versions 10 and 11. And as much as I love Windows XP and 7, they're not receiving security updates anymore and many developers do not support them nowadays, going so far as to prevent the installation of their software.
Linux has important merits: being open source and free, I expect it to be better supported. So here I am.
I'm trying to reach a level of satisfaction with Linux that I have now with Windows. Then, and only then, I can fully switch.
