How to investigate a crash I see during reboot
by nerdinachair from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6CC37)
My distribution currently is Arch Linux and I'm on an ASUS ROG laptop, and I've been learning my way around a linux enough to get a nice environment for me set up. Lately though, I notice that whenever I reboot the machine, for a spit second I can see a stack trace being spit out before it does the reboot. I'm not seeing any signs of instability during operation and the system does reboot rather than hang, so I know I can ignore it, but I'm curious to know why it's happening, and maybe would like to issue a bug report if I can. Problem is it goes by so quick I can't glean any details when it goes by so fast and I'm not sure it's been logged, but I'm new at that. Would someone be willing to help me investigate a curiosity?
