Does anyone have SABnzbd working?
by JinxsDad from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6CH4Q)
I downloaded SABnzbd from SBO packages (the SlackBuild, to be exact). So I ran "installpkg sabnzbd.tgz" and it seemed to install as usual. But both of the following result in a return to the cursor with no output:
(7:00) % which sabnzbd
(7:00) % whereis sabnzbd
(7:00) %
I've tried both all lowercase and SABnzbd. Exactly the same results.
Then, I extracted the source (right away I noticed the lack of a .configure file), but did see a linux directory. In there, I saw sabnzbd.desktop and put that on my desktop, ran it, made it executable per the popup and ran it again. I got an error about /opt/sabnzbd/SABnzbd.py, so I took care of that and ran it again. Nothing happened. No new SABnzbd tab in any Firefox window. I then ran "ps -ax | grep -i sabnzbd" ... again, nothing. No sabnzbd process (except the grep itself). Oh, and yes, SABnzbd.py was executable.
SABnzbd version: 4.0.2
python version: 2.7.18
Slackware 15
uname -a output:
Linux JinxsSlack.local 5.15.19 #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Feb 2 01:50:51 CST 2022
x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux
(Need more? Just ask)
All on a Lenovo IdeaPad L340 Gaming (and thus, gamedev).
Suggestions, anyone?
Thanks
