USB barcode scanner sending data in Decimals (ASCII)
by Firello from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6CK04)
Hello,
- old usb barcode scanner Motorola DS4208-SR00007WR
- scanner interface: HID keyboard emulation
- OS: tumbleweed, xfce4 (but same problem on old 42 suse gnome for example)
Scanner doesn't have same keyboard language as system (French or Ger .. system has Czech - cannot use different keyboard layout). So I need to use "keypad emulation". Thats the start of the problem. Scanner sending every character of barcodes in decimals but in virtual console (ctrl+alt+F1) barcode is correct.
Any ideas please?
Thank you.
