Sync Packages

All,

Needing some sync software, but not knowing how to effectively search for it, so not getting good results. I have 2 scenarios:

1. Coding: So should be GIT based and allow for localhost deployment to a new blank folder and then find all code files for over 500 projects into the right project folder, newly created, by either path or fileanme,
2. Book Authoring: Again must deploy in localhost, create neew folders, find files by path, book name or filename and merge into only one file for each book title.

Any links to possible candidtes greatly appreciated.

Oh all results should be in a MySQL DB!
