how to install CLOC (count lines of code) on Slack15 ?
by pisti from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6D1WM)
did anybody succeed installing CLOC (count lines of code) on Slack15 using the Slackbuilds SBo repository ? i know i got it running on Slack142 some years back, also with some difficulties, but now on Slack15, those gazillions of perl libraries make a true headache, for both doing the installations manually or with slpkg.
it's specifically the perl-parallel-forkmanager library with the associated two-dozens or so of perl libraries and the individual on-each-depending packages (such as perl-Module-Runtime and perl-Moo and vice-versa!) that make the CLOC installation fail.
how to proceed ? is it best to install a complete perl environment ? though that looks to me like a mission impossible via Slackbuilds...
