Whatsapp web in Chromium-ungoogled
by business_kid from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6D5JV)
I'm getting This for web.whatsapp.com lately in Alien Bob's chromium-ungoogled-110.0.5481. Nothing happened - it just started recently. All other psages display fine. That whatsapp page doesn't refresh the QR code, so I can't log in. It's exactly the same after a reinstall, so that seems to clear the binaries.
I have Slackware64-15.0, and there are 2 other browsers
One other thing: With all the browsers I make a user-owned directories in /dev/shm and the browser directories in ~/.cache are symlinks. So when the box shuts down, the cache is cleared. This was working for months before the whatsapp issue appeared. Apart from that, everything is normal, so I'm aggrieved.
Chromium spreads itself. There's also directories in: ~/; ~/.config. I do want to preserve the bookmarks, but otherwise, they are expendable.

- Palemoon-32.2.0 does it's usual thing. The page displays, it starts to log in but never finishes, because the list of contacts never shows.
- Firefox-91.11 just works.
