BAYSOX EDGE MARINERS IN FINALE
The Owen Sound Baysox finished their sophomore season in the North Dufferin Baseball League on a high note. The Baysox beat the Midland Mariners 9-8 in their final game of the regular season. A double hit by Trevor Smith in the top of the seventh inning plated the winning run. The Baysox finish the year with a record of 8-13-1 on the season and will miss the playoffs. The local ball club now turns its attention to the Ontario Baseball Association provincial championships in Port Hope on Labour Day Weekend. Read More
