Miami Dolphins cornerback Eli Apple emphasized that it's water under the bridge with teammate Tyreek Hill.

Apple and Hill have a history of attacking each other on social media and through the press. Hill targeted Apple before their Week 5 matchup last season, saying, "I owe you, boy." Now, the two are teammates after Apple signed a one-year deal with Miami on Saturday.

"It's all love," Apple said Sunday, according to Chris Perkins of the Sun Sentinel.

"(Hill's) locker is literally right across from mine," Apple said. "I saw him earlier today in the locker room, and we were chopping it up a little bit at the training and breakfast table."

Apple spent the last two seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals. He started 30 games over that stretch.

The 27-year-old's arrival in Miami marked the end of his time on the free-agent market. He'd been working out and living in Miami during the offseason, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

"I haven't gone through that long of (an) offseason without being on a team being signed," Apple said. "It just took a lot of patience and hard work on my end and just continue to stay ready as much as I can for any opportunity."

Apple was signed to replace star cornerback Jalen Ramsey after he went down with a knee injury at practice. Ramsey underwent surgery Friday and is expected to be out until December.

Apple was selected No. 10 overall in the 2016 NFL Draft by the New York Giants. He has five interceptions and 59 passes defended in 88 career games.
